Join the newest Fiero coding competition called “Temple Raiders!”
Ages 8-108 are invited to participate - no coding experience required!
In partnership with Fiero Code, you’ll have the chance to challenge your existing code skills, or pick up some new ones as you build a dino-jump-style video game.
About the contest:
Design and program a video game using Code Blocks to run away from the Tikal temple guardian. Jump and duck to avoid tree branches and obstacles and last as long as you can before getting caught.
- For all ages (even if you're brand spanking new to coding)
- Seven total winners (1st through 3rd place for ages 8-12 and 13-18, and 1st place for 18+)
- Contest is open for two full months
- Winners tend to set aside a few chunks of time a week to work on the project
- When you're done, just click Publish, and the fine folks at Fiero will begin evaluating your project
- If you win, you'll be notified and it won't be long before your prize shows up on your doorstep
Did we mention that the winners get cool tech prizes?!
How to Get Started:
- Log into Fiero Code (Create a free account if you don’t already have one).
- Navigate to the Contest page from the top menu.
- Join the challenge and start building!
- Publish your project before the end of March 31st.
