Database Access Issues

Question

Why can I not access a particular database?

It could be that the database that you are trying to access is geofenced, so if you are attemting to use it out of the State of Ohio it may block your access.

You may be using a VPN which registers your device as out of Ohio even though you are in Ohio.  In this case you would need to pause the VPN to use the database.

If neither of those circumstances applies, there may be an issue with remote access and you should  submit a ticket to report the issue.

You can also check to make sure that your library card is not expired by logging in to your account.
